At Arunachala Foundation, we are dedicated to serving the community and preserving cultural heritage. Nestled in the spiritual town of Thiruvannamalai, our foundation is committed to providing a range of services aimed at promoting well-being and traditional practices.
Thiruvannamalai needs no big introduction since it is an internationally famous spiritual place in India. Thiru+Annamalai becomes Thiruvannamalai. Thiru is the title given to show respect for the higher-order. Like Mr., Mrs., Sir., Annamalai means immeasurable Arunachala mountain.
Here the mountain itself is a form of Shiva. Maharishi Ramana says it represents one of the four great Mahavakiyams of Advaita philosophy, that is, ‘TATVAMASI- YOU ARE THAT’.
Great saints lived here since ancient times. Millions of devotees from all over the world throng this place to get the benefit of the spiritual vibe of the place and mountain. It is a wisdom-giving place. The Shiva temple is 2000 years old on 10 Hectares.
Arunachala Foundation is a non-profit organization deeply rooted in the ethos of service and spirituality. Our foundation is inspired by the sacred mountain Arunachala, revered by millions around the world for its spiritual significance.
Our mission is to foster a sense of unity and compassion while preserving the rich cultural heritage of Thiruvannamalai. Through various initiatives and programs, we strive to create a harmonious community that thrives on the principles of love, service, and inclusivity.
Our organization truly believes that by working together, we can save more lives than ever before.
One of our primary services is Annadhanam, the sacred act of offering food to those in need. We believe in the importance of nourishing both body and soul, and our Annadhanam program aims to provide wholesome meals to the underprivileged, pilgrims, and visitors to Thiruvannamalai.
In addition to Silambam, we offer Karate classes for those interested in learning the art of self-defense and discipline. Our Karate program focuses on enhancing physical fitness, building confidence, and instilling values of respect and perseverance.
Silambam, the ancient Indian martial art, is an integral part of our cultural heritage. Through our Silambam training sessions, we aim to preserve and promote this traditional art form. Our experienced instructors provide guidance and support to individuals of all ages, helping them develop physical strength, mental discipline, and self-defense skills.
